About the booklet "Getting the best from Neurological Services in Gloucestershire" |
If you have been recently diagnosed with a neurological condition you are probably experiencing all sorts of uncomfortable feelings. This booklet contains the answers to many of your questions. It tells you how to go about finding local information and how to get the attention of organisations and individuals who can help you.
It is available free of charge to anyone in Gloucestershire with an interest - not just patients but also their relatives, carers, healthcare professionals, volunteer workers and so on.
It was written by the NCS Gloucestershire Reference Group with the assistance of NHS Gloucestershire and GUiDE and PALS, and volunteer representatives of the MS Society, MNDA and Parkinson's UK. Hundreds of Gloucestershire people living with many different neurological conditions contributed to define the issues and to provide facts and opinions. The booklet is maintained for future editions by GlosNA. |

Updates, additions and corrections |
Information changes all the time. Web links and telephone numbers change, government and local initiatives render old services obsolete and create new ones, people change jobs or retire and new people take up the reins. New services, new charities and new local government departments may mean that we need to post new information on the web site and put it in the booklet when it's reprinted.
We rely on readers to keep us up-to-date. If you know of any changes or additions we need to make, please send an email to updates@glosna.org.uk and we will make sure your information is visible to all users. |
